I came up with the idea for the first song while on a run in the rain one evening. I came back home and wrote the lyrics. Weeks later, I left home and drove for like 8 days and stayed in the south of Mexico, where I studied mixing techniques and finished recording / mixing the song. I feel proud of this work, it's my best sounding yet. The sound is inspired by 70's soul, classic rock, a mix of yacht rock with Pink Floyd. The second song, I wrote while on the road trip back from that place. If you dig the songs, share them with someone you like.
